Michael Rainone and Ken Ross are graduates of the IM School of Healing Arts in New York where they currently teach and counsel. During their study at IM, a men’s group was formed, and has been ongoing for almost ten years. It was that group experience that inspired them to start their current men’s group, wanting to share the benefits with a broader circle of men.
Michael’s interest in supporting men’s growth began from his experience in men’s groups and it’s effect on his views and attitudes about what it was to be a man. He saw the importance of initiation into manhood which lead him to The Mankind Project’s New Warrior program that he completed in 2005. Michael maintains a private practice as a healing arts practitioner, counselor and is a nationally certified reflexologist. He is currently training as a Core Energetics practitioner.
Ken has extensive experience with group process. An award-winning filmmaker and a film teacher, he is devoted to helping others find their own voice and their own vision. He has a private practice as a transformational life coach and counselor. Ken has taught filmmaking at Vassar College, Bard College and SUNY Purchase and has directed over 200 TV commercials, music videos and promos. His independent films have been widely shown in museums, film festivals and film showcases. A student of Eckhart Tolle, he has filmed two of his retreats now available on DVD.
